Terms of Sale
All orders will be processed and shipped within 72 hours of receipt of payment in full. Sorry, no C.O.D. orders are accepted. Purchases can be paid for by VISA, MasterCard, money orders, or by personal check. Personal checks may be held for up to ten (10) days and orders will be shipped when the check clears the bank.

Shipping Policy
Items will be shipped using most economical method unless requested otherwise by the customer. If a special shipping method is requested by the customer that is non-standard to The Perfect Tea, customer will pay any and all additional costs of shipping and handling. Sorry, no shipping to locations outside the continental United States.

Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you find that you are not pleased with your purchase, return the items to us within thirty (30) days of when you received them for a refund of the purchase price or an exchange for other items. Merchandise needs to be in new, clean and re-sellable condition. Please understand that shipping charges can only be refunded if your return is a result of our error. The guidelines for returning items for refund or exchange are listed below.

Although loose leaf teas and food items are not returnable, small amounts of loose leaf tea can be ordered and samples can be requested. We strongly suggest that our customers take advantage of these two ways of trying out loose leaf teas before larger quantities are ordered.

Procedure To Obtain A Refund Or Exchange:

Please call our toll-free number (888-3-FOR-TEA) or email us at service@theperfecttea.com so we can issue you a return authorization.

Fill out the return form included with your purchase, and include it (or a copy of it) with the item(s) you are returning. Be sure to write in your return authorization number on the form.

If you are returning breakable items, be sure to pack them securely, preferably in the original box and packaging that we used. Follow these guidelines:

  • There must be 1-2 inches of packing materials (paper, bubble wrap, foam, etc.) between the item and the box on all sides.

  • All fragile items (e.g. a teapot and a lid) must be separated from each other by packing materials.

  • Send via Insured Priority Mail, Fed Ex, or UPS.

  • If an uninsured item is returned to us broken, we cannot issue a refund.

If you are returning a very light weight item that is not likely to be damaged in shipping, please return it to us via Parcel Post or First Class Mail to our address. Otherwise we recommend insured Priority Mail, FedEx, UPS or another similar service.

Original shipping and return shipping costs will be refunded to you if your merchandise was defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong merchandise.

We will contact you when your item(s) are received and inspected. Your refund will be processed promptly thereafter. If you have any questions or concerns during this process, feel free to contact us. We will be pleased to inform you of the status of your return and refund.


Refund Policy
Refunds will be issued on items after return authorization has been approved and items(s) have been received and verified to be in re-sellable condition. Shipping fees are not refundable unless the item was defective or the shipment was made in error by The Perfect Tea.

Refunds of credit card charges will only be issued to the same credit card that was used to make the purchase. Orders paid for by check or money order will be refunded by The Perfect Tea company check. Refunds will be issued promptly when the items have been returned in re-sellable condition.

Privacy Policy
The Perfect Tea respects your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal and financial information. Any information collected by The Perfect Tea is for the sole purpose of providing you service as our customer. The Perfect Tea will not sell your information to any entity. Your information will not be shared with, revealed to anyone except when we are required by law to do so. Occasionally The Perfect Tea may send you special offers or inform you of special sales we are having by e-mail or by regular U.S. Mail. You will always have the right to opt out of these offers or sales at any time by letting us know in any way you choose to tell us.
